July Moments for Year end review

Here are the July moments from 2019.

Beginning of July 2019 the Labrador-Grenfell Health announced about their will be enhanced air transportation, an aircraft for Schedevac and Medivac dedicated aircraft for medical emergencies.

On July 9th, Nain residents first received cellular services with Bell Aliant.

The DHSD in Nain completed an 8 week Parenting Program, with 15 participants graduated on Tuesday, July 9th, 2019.

On July 10th, The Division of Tourism with Nunatsiavut Government were looking for speed boat charters to travel from Nain to Hebron for the summer.

Also on July 10th the new ferry vessel first hit the Labrador seas for the north coast of Labrador called the Kamutik W began serving the freight and passengers and vehicles freight to the north coast communities today.

On July 11th, the Nunatsiavut Government had a few people from the North West Territories come to Labrador to teach elders and youth how to clean moose hide.

On July 12th the construction for the seven-Plex has started here in Nain.

The 14th Annual Rhubarb Festival in Hopedale started Monday, July 15th and ran until Saturday, July 20th.

July 14th marked the 14th Annual Rhubarb Festival in Hopedale.

This year marked the 29th year for the Annual Trout Festival in Makkovik.

The 19th annual Fun in the Sun Festival started in Postville on Tuesday, July 23rd.

July 27th the Beach Festival began in North West River.

On July 30th, a new vessel was built to serve the Torngat Fish Producers Incorporated for the community of Nain.
