The Academy Canada College in Nain opened its doors for the Adult Basic Education (ABE) courses in September.
Gerald Hapgood is the Instructor.
He says there are 6 students taking the classes, the subjects are same as what is taught in High Schools which include math, English and science to name a few.
Hapgood says 6 students were taking these classes, and one of the students graduated yesterday.
He says there are four more students expected to graduate by June.
Hapgood says these class courses are good for people who want or need to finish their education.
He added that Level 1 would be a great asset if it was added to the colleges in the community, because there are some students who want to take these courses, and don’t qualify.
