The Guy Fawkes Night is an annual event held on November 5th.
We contacted each Inuit Community Government to find out what they are doing tonight in celebration of Guy Fawkes Night.
In Makkovik; usually everyone holds their own bonfires, either at the shore line or at the sandpit.
They also invite family and friends to gather around the fire and enjoy some wieners and marshmallows.
In the community of Postville; we spoke with Town Manager Shirley Goudie.
She says that the Fire Brigade will hold a community bonfire tonight starting at 6:30 pm at the sandpit, everyone is welcome.
They will be having wieners and marshmallows this year.
In Happy Valley Goose Bay; the annual Guy Fawkes bonfire will be held at the EJ Broomfield arena with free skating starting from 6:00 to 6:50 pm.
Hot chocolate and marshmallows and hot dogs and apples will be provided.
In Hopedale this year the bonfire starts at 6 pm at the Nanuk Center, with wieners and hot chocolate and marshmallows provided.
And in Rigolet the Inuit Community Government will be providing marshmallows, wieners, apple and orange juice and water, the bonfire begins at 6:30 pm tonight.
