Fuel prices are up across the board this week with the exception of propane, which is unchanged.
Gas is seeing the highest increase with 1.6 cents per litre; diesel is up by under a cent.
Heating and stove oils are both up by less than half a cent.
Nain residents, the word is out that the Nain’s Woodward’s Oil Ltd ran out of Gasoline at the tanks this morning.
We spoke with one of the Gas Station Attendants to find out more details.
Yes it’s true that the Woodward’s Oil Ltd in Nain ran out of Gas this morning at 10am.
But they currently still have oil at the Gas station.
The Nain Inuit Community Government AngajukKâk Julius Dicker was speaking to the General Manager Dennis White for Woodward Group of Companies.
According to White the oil boat is currently in Makkovik, and will leave tonight and makes it ways to Nain, the tanker should arrive to Nain tomorrow morning.
And the gas station will be open later on tomorrow on Saturday November 2, 2019.
