The Nain Department of Health and Social Development will be holding another Flu clinic next week in Nain.
Joann Pye is the Public Health Nurse for the Nunatsiavut DHSD in Nain.
She says next Wednesday November 6, 2019 will be the next flu clinic for Nain residents.
Pye says she recommends everyone to get their flu shots.
The flu clinic will take place at the Nunatsiavut Government boardroom from 1pm to 7pm.
Nain Public Health would like to remind residents that the Flu shot is an immunization given yearly to protect against seasonal influzena.
The seasonal flu vaccine protects against the influenza viruses that research indicates will be most common during the upcoming seasons.
She adds everyone from the age of 6 months and pregnant women are recommending getting their shot.
