The Nain fish plant is slowing down and it will shut down next week.
Deidi Kohlmeister is the Office Supervisor for the plant.
She says there are 9 employees cleaning up the fish plant.
Kohlmeister says 815 lbs of shucked scallops has been landed to date.
She adds there are cod fillets, smoked char, crab claws and legs to sell at the fish plant if anyone is interested.
And all the fish products will be shipped on the next boat.
In Makkovik fish plant they also slowed down for the Fall.
Junior Andersen is the Production Manager for the plant.
He says there 22 employees working at the plant.
Andersen says 42,700 lbs of Turbot has been landed to date.
He says there is one Turbot boat fishing and they need 12,000 more pounds of Turbot and they will be finished fishing for the Fall.
