This past Sunday we aired the interview we had about the 7 plex in Nain.
Michelle Kinney is the Deputy Minister of Health and Social Development.
They began the construction on the 7 Plex this summer, similar to the one in Hopedale.
The purpose of the building is for families who are involved with CSSD, or is planning on having their children back with them with proper housing and support.
Kinney says that the 7 Plex should be completed by December of this year.
Applications will be ready by middle of October and if you are interested in applying you can go to your local family connections worker and put your name down, than they will send you an application.
The funding was received from the Federal Government to the Nunatsiavut Government under the housing initiative.
