The 2019 Fall Sports Meet began in Nain yesterday.
Teams and Athletes from Nain, Natuashish, Hopedale, Postville, and Rigolet is participating this year.
Yesterday evening the Opening Ceremonies went on for the Athletes.
Today marks day 2 of the Fall Sports meet, they began this morning with a Cross Country Run, after that they then moves on with archery.
The girls ran first and the results for them were as follows:
1st, 2nd, and 3rd for the girls went to Emilie, Marin, and Kalee, all from Makkovik team.
1st in the boys run went to Liam from Makkovik, and 2nd and 3rd went to Jeremy and Trevor, from Nain.
This afternoon they will hold Volley-Ball, and this evening they hold Native Games.
For the last day for Day 3 starting in the morning there will be Volley-Ball, and in the afternoon Volley-Ball will continue, than in the evening there will be the Awards Banquet.
