The Nain Recreation Department will be holding a Music Festival this weekend, yesterday we announced day 1 of the schedule here is day 2.

On Saturday, August 24, the Music Festival will end off with an Open Mic for any local performers.
On Sunday, August 25, starting at 2pm will begin off with the Nain Brass Band, and from 2:15-4:15 will be local performers playing.
At 4:15pm, The Flummies Band will play, and at 5:30pm, there will be a Step Dance Competition with a prize of $50.
From 5:45-8pm, local performers will be performing followed by Saali Keelan and his band at 8pm.
At 9:15pm they will hold a Community Cha Cha Slide, you will get extra tickets for a better chance to win the door prize.
And at 9:25pm they will do the Door Prize for the Ipad Mini, you must be present to win.
At 9:40, they will have a closing for the Tusannituk Music Festival along with the Nain Brass Band.
There will also be a Photo Contest with a prize of $200 during the Festival, and the contest will be for Capturing Moments during this 2 day Music Festival.
Entries can be emailed to recreationnain@nf.aibn.com, there will also be a Door Prize and you must be present to win yourself an Ipad Mini.
And ending off at 11pm, there will be Fireworks sponsored by the NICG Recreation Department and the Nain Volunteer Fire Dept.
Please note that the seniors van will also be available for ages 55 years and up from 8am-10am and 5:30-10pm to the JS only, and on Sunday from 2-5pm and 6-10pm, any senior’s needing a ride can call 2690/2691.
