The Happy Valley Goose-Bay SPCA is in need of more fostering homes due to lack of space.
Bonnie Learning is the volunteering vice president of the HVGB SPCA, located on the Winnipeg Street on the Canadian side of Goose-Bay.
They have at least 4 animals from the north coast to be sent to them yet but right now they have no space for them to be sent to HVGB.
The SPCA is in need of more foster homes because they have maxed out in space at their shelter, and they have only so much foster homes already in care. They’ve also maxed out at the boarding kennel for the project business.
Foster homes are always needed especially when it comes to animals with medical problems, animals that can’t get along with other animals, and many other reasons, so it is a lot more difficult to get foster homes.
If you are an interested person to become a foster for animals you can go onto their website at www.hvgbspca.com, you can email bonnielearning@gmail.com, or contact Bonnie at 709-897-5661. You can also touch base with Bonnie through Facebook.
Foster applications are available through the Facebook group page HVGB SPCA.
Learning adds that when you foster animals they provide everything for the fostering such as; food, bedding, collars, leashes, etc.
