Angajukkâk Update

The Nain Inuit Community Government is currently dealing with issues for the spring and summer of 2019.

Joe Dicker is the AngajukKâk for the Nain Inuit Community Government.

He says there is a Town Clean up/Property Clean-up for the community with prizes to be won.

The ads are posted around town with the prizes.

Another issue they are dealing with are with the Bugdell’s.

He says that they are waiting on them to arrive to Nain and finish off their contract with their housing development and to put the roads back to the way they were.

And for the summer jobs, Dicker says they’re waiting for an approval for funding to hire summer students, and should find out within the next week or so.

As for the roads, they will be maintained regularly.

He adds that they are still waiting for the announcements from the Provincial Governments for approvals for any new projects and will let inform the OK Society once they becomes available.
