There are 5 positions available with the Nunatsiavut Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism for this upcoming summer.
Jill Larkham is the Director of Tourism with the Nunatsiavut Government.
She says these positions are: a Hebron Ambassador who will be responsible for providing tours to guest visiting Hebron and leading daily operations at Hebron; they must also provide a detailed summary of activities, what visitors were interested in and recommendations for next season.
The other position will be a Hebron Ambassador Assistant and two positions of Carpenters and a Hebron Labourer.
The season will be 9 weeks in total, the positions will run from the beginning of July until the end of August.
The Hebron Ambassador Assistant will be responsible for providing tours to guest visiting Hebron and provide assistance to the Ambassador.
Hebron Carpenter (2 positions) the Hebron Carpenter will be responsible for the restoration work on the Hebron Church and graveyards.
The individuals will also be required to participate in a pre and post briefing with staff on seasonal activities and also provide the Director of Tourism a detailed summary of work completed and recommendations for the upcoming season.
Hebron Labourer will assist the Carpenters on restoration projects.
