RCMP Volleyball Tournament

This year marks the 35th Annual RCMP Volleyball Tournament held in Hopedale.

Charlotte Lucy Piercy is the community constable in Hopdale.

She says the Tournament is being held by herself, Constable Terrence Monro, Jacquie Dicker, Derrick Rayner, and Danielle Pottle.

The tournament was to begin today Friday, April 5, but due to bad weather it has been rescheduled for tomorrow Saturday, April 6.

There is a fee of $20 per player, and monies collected covers the Prizes and Trophies.

1st place winners will receive Gold Medals along with a personalized shirt and a $200 gift card.

2nd place winners will receive Silver Medals, and a $50 Gift card.

The tournament will be held at the Nanuk Centre.

Lucy Piercy added that she would like to say a big thanks to Toby Obed the Score Keeper for taking part, the Hopedale Committee for sponsoring the gift cards, the Nanuk Centre staff for using the gym and Kitchen, and to the community for your support.
