The Nunatsiavut Government Status of Women’s office is looking for two women who are beneficiaries from each of the coastal communities and North West River and HVGB to attend to a two day communications skills workshop in HVGB.
We spoke with Tracy Ann Evans Rice the Nunatsiavut Status of Women Coordinator with the NG.
She says they received funding to bring two women to attend to this workshop.
The workshop is focused on improving your writing skills and to improve your public speaking skills.
The workshop will be held on Tuesday February 26 and Feb 27, 2019.
And Deadline to apply is this Thursday February 7.
Evans-Rice adds that they want two women from Nain, Hopedale, Postville, Rigolet, Makkovik, North West River and HVGB.
They need 14 women in total to attend to this workshop, Your Flights, accommodations and meals will be paid for.
She says there will be a facilitator from the Canadian Execrative Service Organization doing this workshop.
