Former NHL Hockey Player, Theo Fleury, turned motivational speaker, will be in Happy Valley Goose Bay on Sunday, February 3rd at the College of the North Atlantic for a speaking engagement.
Sharon Edmunds is the Team Leader at the Department of Health & Social Development.
She says Fluery will talk about his experience through trauma, addiction and his journey to helping others.
This is a free event open to the public, doors will open at 4pm, and his presentation will run from 4:30 to 5:30 pm.
Edmunds says he will be available from 5:30 to 6:30 for autographs and photos, so please note that there are to be no photos or video recording during his session.
Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult due to the sensitive nature of his talk.
