Tonight is Guy Fawkes Night.
Fawkes is famous for his involvement in the failed Gunpowder Plot in England in the year 1605.
Today marks the 413th Anniversary of that night.
In Makkovik, there will be individual and family bonfires along the water fronts.
The Volunteer Fire Brigade will be holding the Guy Fawkes bonfire in Postville at the sandpit at 6 pm.
There will be wieners and juice boxes provided.
The grad class will also be selling some food or beverages.
