The Nigivik Centre has been open in Nain for a few months now.
Shelley Dicker is the Community Food Coordinator for the Nigivik Centre.
On Mondays, Dicker plans what she’ll offer throughout the week and gets purchase orders ready for the programs.
Tuesdays are cooking classes for adults.
They learn to make things such as homemade bread or something they have never made before.
Wednesdays in the afternoon is cooking classes for youth.
Dicker adds she has a lot planned for the future of the Nigivik Centre.
