The 9th Annual Heritage Forum took place in Hopedale from June 25 to 28, 2018.
Jamie Brake is an Archaeologist for the Nunatsiavut Government.
Brake says that there were a lot of issues on the agenda for the Heritage Forum.
The topics included” relocation, arts, tradition and transition projects, celebrating 100 years of Okak, genealogy, and a lot of other issues.
Brake adds that they would start off their days with an Inuktitut lesson.
A report will be released on the forum sometime near the end of summer or early fall.
