Update on the Departure of the MV Northern Ranger

Commencement of the 2018 North Coast of Labrador Passenger and Freight Service Further Impacted by Ice.

Nunatsiavut Marine wishes to advise the public that the departure of the MV Northern Ranger from Happy Valley – Goose Bay, tentatively scheduled for June 25, 2018, will be postponed due to unfavourable Ice conditions on the North Coast of Labrador.

Passengers with confirmed reservations who are being affected by the postponed departure will be contacted by a customer service representative.

We are continuing to monitor ice charts on a daily basis and expect conditions to improve around the middle of next week.

Once conditions are deemed to be safe for sailing, the MV Northern Ranger and the MV Astron will commence service on the North Coast of Labrador.
