The Communal Food Fishery Licenses are now available at the Nunatsiavut Government Offices.
Todd Broomfield is the Director of Renewable Resources for Nunatsiavut Government.
He says these licenses are available for the food fishery for trout and char, and that includes tags for 7 salmon.
Broomfield says they received a lot of applications for shrimp, snow crab and halibut commercial fisheries that closed on Friday, April 6 of this year.
He added the commercial char licences will be out in early June.
