The Nunatsiavut Government had their Assembly Sitting a little while back.
Edward Blake-Rudkowski is the Speaker for the Assembly, and is also the Ordinary Member for the Canadian Constituency.
Blake-Rudkowski says that President Johannes Lampe touched on the topic of the federal government just committing to providing $400 million for other northern regions, but they are still unsure of how much Nunatsiavut will receive.
He says that the 2018-2019 budget was also discussed at this sitting.
Blake-Rudkowski mentions that there was also a lot of news around the Culture, Recreation and Tourism Department.
