Four kayakers (Kajattutet) left from Kangiqsualujjuaq, Nunavik last month.
We spoke with Noah Nochasak, a kayaker himself from Nain.
Today the four kayakers arrive in Nain, and they will be at the baseball field for their arrival.
This is a very far journey with lots of exposed ocean, hard paddling, and many polar bears, and it will be good to see them once they arrive, says Nochasak.
The kayakers are JS Marleau, Justine Curgenven, Frank Wolf, and Larry Chomyn.
JS Marleau was Noah’s former Kayak instructors in BC.
They started their journey in mid June from Kangiqsualujjuaq, Nunavik.
The Kayakers will stay over night and fly back onto their homes tomorrow.
Nochasak adds if you would like to hear how their experience was you can meet them at the baseball field.
