A Climate change on the land workshop will be happening this month.
Come out to enjoy some time out on the land and to learn about research in Makkovik.
This 3 day workshop will be held from March 22nd to the 24th, 2020.
This workshop is to bring researchers and community members together, out on the land and to talk about the changes we see happening around the community of Makkovik.
And to share and to meet others who are interested in and working on the topic.
You can either attend to all three days out on the land or you can come to one or two of the days, there are also opportunities for people to stay overnight.
You can travel to the event by using your own skidoo (gas will be provided) or if you don’t have a skidoo don’t worry they will provide the ride.
There will be food provided each day and a gift cards for attendees.
