2nd Annual Grace Jararuse Flowers Memorial Ice Hockey Tourney Results

The 2nd Annual Grace Jararuse Flowers Memorial Ice Hockey Fun Tournament in Nain, NL, came to a great end yesterday.

In the Minor Hockey division, the bronze medalists were the Lucky Pucks, Bop’s Team were the silver medalists, and Team Gracie captured the gold medal.

In the award ceremonies for the Minor Hockey division, the award winner for Most Sports-Minded Female was Madison Dicker, the Top Defensemen was Johnny Dicker, and Tristan Denniston was named the Most Sports-Minded Male.

Kirsten Dicker was named the MVP Female with 24 points, the MVP Male and Top Scorer with 28 points- 21 goals and 7 assists- was Samuel Flowers, the Top Goalie was Gilbert Haye, and the Top Goaltender Overall was Shannon Holwell.

And the winner of the Grace Jararuse Flowers Award, presented to the player who reflects the image and spirit of Grace on and off the ice with good sportsmanship, was Peyton Dicker.

In the Men’s Division, the Harris Team are the Grace Memorial Ice Hockey champions for 2018.

The Old Timers took 2nd place, and the Bantam and Midgets team captured 3rd place.

In the awards ceremonies for the Adults division, the Most Valuable Player and Most Sports-Minded Player was James Dicker, the Top Scorer was Michael Dyson, the top goaltender was Steven Denniston, the Top Goaltender Overall was Brian Flowers, and the Top Defensemen was Edward Harris.
