AnânauKatiget Tumingit, Regional Inuit Women’s Association (ATRIWA) is looking for women to take part in a free Traditional Medicine and Cures gathering.
Cathy Ford is the Coordinator for the gathering.
ATRIWA is looking for 2 delegates from Happy Valley- Goose Bay, and a delegate from North West River.
The women’s gathering is scheduled for September 12-15, and will now be held in Hopedale.
The gathering will feature a walking tour to look for plants, bushes and trees that were used for medicine and cures.
