OK Radio had a quick update via email from Andrea Procter on the two latest Tradition and Transition projects she is involved with.
The projects are: The Daughters of Mikak and the Candace Cochrane photography book project.
Jade Holwell has been hired as the summer student to work on the two projects and will be based in the OKâlaKatiget Society offices. Her job will run from May 24th to August 16th.
Jade will be doing archival research, transcription, compiling stories, and working to create more digital stories.
Procter will be spending a week in Nain from June 2nd to June 8th, working with Jade, and talking with people about the text for the photo book.
