Woodward’s Oil Ltd. advises residents of Nain that gas will be rationed out, effective today, November 10, 2017.
OK Radio spoke with Rod Woodward, Manager for the gas station in Nain.
He says that the gas is getting low.
Woodward says that a limit of $50.00 per person is imposed on gas purchases until resupply of fuel next week.
He adds that the oil boat is expected next weekend but that’s all depending on the weather and this is the last shipment for the year.
Woodward says that the only vehicles that can get fully “topped up” are the RCMP, Fire Hall, and Hospital.
He would like to let everyone know that there should be enough gas to last for everyone with doing the rationing of the gas until the oil boat comes.
