- Program is called 'Labradorimiut' (People of Labrador); follows documentary or magazine format, and presents current affairs, cultural information, and entertainment items.
- Fully bilingual programming
- Labradorimiut is now available to many more household via cable and direct to home customers. Since its launch in September, APTN is paying for Aboriginal programming its members produce. This extra revenue will add greatly to our financial situation.
New Programming
The payment for Aboriginal programming is a great incentive for the Society to produce as many new programs as possible. The new television programming season usually starts in October of each year.
Labradorimiut programs now have a new time slot. Our programs broadcast on APTN on Fridays at 11:30am, 3:30pm, and 7:30pm EST.
