Part 1 of Vale Info Sessions Airs Tomorrow

Vale NL held information sessions about the upcoming underground mining at Voisey’s Bay mine site in Nain last week on May 9.

OKâlaKatiget Radio attended the sessions to get audio of what will be happening.

Discussions included an overview and an update of the current operations at Voisey’s Bay mine site.

And information about the upcoming underground mining project operations and Nickle processing facility in Long Harbour, NL.

Perry Blanchard, Safety, Health and Environment manager, Anne Marie Waterman, Human Resources Business Partner, Michael Van Der Hooft, Manager of Underground Mining Excellence, Jenny Gulliver, Recruiter for Vale, and Theresa Hollett, Impacts and Benefits Agreement (IBA) Coordinator for Nunatsiavut Government were all in attendance.
