The OKâlaKatiget Society has switched on its FM radio transmitter in Happy Valley Goose Bay, NL.
The new FM transmitter was operational as of Tuesday July 19th, 2016 at 11:30 am on CKOH – FM at 99.3MHz.
OK Radio is still currently broadcasting through CHHV 1340 AM.
If there aren’t any problems with the FM transmitter during a three week testing period, the AM transmitter will then be switched off.
The OK Society’s CKOH – FM transmitter will be left on permanently after the testing period on 99.3 MHz.
The OKâlaKatiget Society would appreciate any feedback from our audience once the transmitter is turned on, specifically with any problems with our new FM broadcast transmission in the Upper Lake Melville area.
