The deadline for the second Labrador Aboriginal Training Partnership (LATP) Tower Steel Assembly training program in Happy Valley Goose Bay has passed.
We spoke with Carol Best, the Manager of Programs and Learner Supports.
She says the deadline for applications was on September 24 at 4pm.
Best says they had over 50 applications sent in from people wanting to enrol in the training.
But only 20 individuals will be selected.
Best says right now they are in the process of sending the list of applicants to the HVGB Campus to approve the 20 suitable applicants on the list.
And the selected individuals will be contacted soon.
