Gas buyers will get a bit of a break at the pumps today after last week’s big hit thanks to Hurricane Harvey.
Gas is down by 5.9 cents a litre today.
That’s a little less than half of the over 13 cent increase consumers saw last Thursday.
The only fuel price up today is propane.
That will cost an extra 2 cents a litre.
Diesel is down by less than a cent on the island, and down by almost 8 cents in Labrador.
Both furnace and stove oils are down by less than a cent.
