The deadline for Acceptance of Freight by Labrador Marine Service has been issued in a Public Advisory.
The Department of Transportation and Works advises that the deadline for acceptance of freight, for guaranteed delivery this shipping season, at all terminals of the Labrador Marine Service (Lewisporte, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, and all points north to Nain) is 4:30 p.m., Friday, November 15.
The shipment of goods to the Labrador north coast will continue for as long as ice and weather conditions allow but delivery of freight received after this date cannot be guaranteed.
Typically, freight service has ended in late November or early December.
