The town of Makkovik has a new radio program to listen to.
The All Indigenous Power Hour is a radio program that touches on issues that all aboriginal people face.
TJ Lightfoot is one of the hosts of the program.
She says that this program is important to her in many ways, as she is Mi'KMaq and her partner is Inuit.
She adds that aboriginal people face many obstacles and a lot of these are ignored, and by doing this program, she can help bring more awareness to these issues.
Residents of Makkovik can tune into their local radio station on Sundays at 4pm to listen in on the All Indigenous Power Hour.
