The Department of Health and Social Development (DHSD) in Makkovik is inviting the community to their first planning meeting for Aboriginal day 2013.
The Government of Canada has declared June 21 to be National Aboriginal Day.
The meeting is to be held on May 2.
It is to see if there is any interest in working together to have this celebration go ahead.
The meeting will start at 1:15 pm at the DHSD building.
Everyone is welcome to share ideas and a cup of tea.
