Dallas Mercer Consulting, in Partnership with the Labrador Aboriginal Training Program, is offering safety training to people in Nain.
Steve Reid is an Occupational Health and Safety Consultant and Trainer with Dallas Mercer and Consulting.
Reid says that there are 14 people taking the safety training course.
It‘s being held at the Atsanik Lodge.
They have covered Fall Protection and the St. John Ambulance Standard First Aid Course so far.
Reid adds that after these safety training courses, the 14 people can apply pretty well anywhere that requires the training.
