The Amos Comenius Memorial School Nanuit made their way to the Provincial Volleyball finals at the St. Mark’s School in King’s Cove, NL this past weekend.
On December 7 to 9, the ACMS Nanuit played 4 games to advance to the semi finals, winning each game they played.
During the semi finals, the ACMS played against the Bishop White School from Port Rexton, NL.
ACMS took the win by scores of 26-24, 19-25 and 15-9.
They advanced to the final with the Gill Memorial Academy from Musgrave Harbour, NL.
After the teams took a game each, they went to a third game, and the Nanuit triumphed by a final score of 19-17 to win gold.
Halle Lucy of Hopedale also went home with the Most Sportsmanlike Award.
