The Jens Haven Memorial School (JHMS) made their way to the AAA Provincials held at the home of the Roncalli Central High School in Avondale, NL.
On December 1-2, 2017, the JHMS Huskies played 3 games, and won each game to advance into the semifinals.
During the semifinals on December the 2nd,the Huskies played the Baccalieu Colligiate of Old Perlican, NL.
They won, and advanced to the gold medal game.
The Huskies played the Jane Collins Academy for a second time in the gold medal game, with Jane Collins taking the gold by scores of 25-18 and 25-22, giving the silver medals to the Huskies.
The Huskies not only came home with the silver medals; Captain James Dicker received the Most Sportsmanlike Player award, and the Huskies also received the Most Sportsmanlike Team award.
