Labrador, Nunatsiavut has been recognized as a Best of the World Destination in 2018 by the National Geographic Traveler Magazine.
The Honourable Christopher Mitchelmore is the Minister of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation for the Provincial Government.
He says this is very exciting news for Labrador.
Mitchelmore says this is a very important designation highlighting the coastal activities and natural beauty of Labrador.
He added it will also create opportunities as a destination, and certainly anybody who lives in Labrador, or has visited it, will understand it.
