Update on Apology for Residential School Survivors (Audio)

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be in Goose Bay, NL for an apology ceremony for the Labrador Residential School Survivors on Friday, November 24th.

Jim Igloliorte has been contracted by the Federal Government with respect to the former residential school survivors.

He says there are about 25 to 40 residential school survivors and family members invited for the special occasion, plus the public.

He added OKâlaKatiget Radio has been invited to cover the apology event.

The apology ceremony will take place at the Lawrence O’Brien Centre in Goose Bay.
