The regulated price of gas is down today – albeit slightly.
Gas is down 0.3 cents per litre, while diesel is going up by a cent.
Furnace and stove oil are also up this morning by just under a cent a litre, while propane is down one cent.
Meanwhile, gas taxes will drop again, starting December 1st.
The provincial government introduced what it called a temporary gas tax in the 2016 budget, a hike of 16.5 cents a litre.
In last year’s budget, then-Minister Cathy Bennett announced that the tax would be reduced.
It dropped by 8.5 cents a litre back in July, and will be reduced by another 4 cents a litre, starting December 1st.
