The Speaker of the Nunatsiavut Assembly, Edward Blake-Rudkowski, announced yesterday that he has accepted the resignation of Roy Blake, an Ordinary Member for the Constituency of Upper Lake Melville.
“I have been advised by Mr. Blake that he is resigning to deal with some personal matters and, as such, there will be no further statements,” notes the Speaker.
The resignation takes effect immediately.
