Service Canada and the Canada Revenue Agency is presenting a Clinic and Information Session that will take place in Nain at the Nunatsiavut Government Boardroom tomorrow, September 27, 2017 at 2 to 4 pm, and again from 6 to 8 pm.

The information will be on Canada Pension/Old Age Security, Employment Insurance, Canada Child Benefit, Goods and Services Tax Credit, Disability Tax Credit, Working Income Tax Benefit, and the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program.

With the Canada Child Benefit, you may receive up to $6,400 per child.

In order to apply for the Canada Child Benefit, you will need to have a Social Insurance Number (SIN), and file an income tax and benefit return.

Service Canada staff will be available to provide you with more information and help you get a SIN.

If you are in need of a SIN, or to amend your SIN, please bring your Birth Certificate and/or your NG Beneficiary Card.

A Birth Certificate is mandatory for children and minors.

If you do not have these documents, please bring whatever identification you have so that they can assist you.
