Summer Fishery Comes to an End for the Season

The Torngat fishery is just about all wrapped up for Nain and Makkovik.

Keith Watts is the General Manager for Torngat Fisheries.

He says for the Nain fishery, there were 29,000 pounds of char landed, but they were hoping to get 50 to 60,000 pounds.

But for the Makkovik turbot, he says that they are doing quite good, and about 60 percent of their turbot is landed.
