Bullet Hole at Natuashish School Results in Charges for 14 Year Old

A 14 year old boy from Natuashish, NL is facing charges after an RCMP investigation into a bullet hole in a classroom window at the Mushua Innu School last week.

The boy has been charged with a careless use of a firearm and other related charges, although police don’t name them specifically.

The boy appeared in court on Friday.

The students were sent home on Wednesday, September 6 as a precaution.

This was after the principal had discovered the small hole in the window that morning.

The RCMP said there were no injuries as a result of the incident.
