The Salmon Fest in Rigolet is nearing the end of their events.
Here are the events planned for today:
Cardboard boat making is at 2 pm at the Hall.
You’re asked to bring your own material.
Kids aged five to nine can enjoy a movie at 3 pm at the Youth Centre.
A cardboard boat race is set to sail at 3:30 pm at the Float Dock.
Booth Games will be at 4 pm with a 25 cent entry.
Dale Hamel will also be performing as well.
From 6 pm to 12 am, a free family dance is set to go down.
Ages 12 and under have to leave at 10 pm.
Saturday’s events will be at the Net Loft.
Events start at 10 am, beginning with booth games with a 25 cent entry.
Bingo cards and BYOB tickets will be sold during this time.
Dunk Tank and Pie Face games will take place as well.
At 11 am, there’s a Merchandise Bingo.
Come on down to the Price is Right at 12 pm.
It costs $5 to enter to win a chance to play.
From 1-2 pm, Dale Hamel will perform.
And at 2 pm, The Rigolet Challenge will start.
A Square Dance will kick off from 3-4 pm.
The Salmon Feast will start at 5:30 pm at the Hall.
Closing Ceremonies will go at 6:30 pm.
Giant Bingo cards will be sold as well.
And at 7:30 pm, there is a Giant Bingo.
A fireworks show is tentatively scheduled to blast off after the Bingo.
And lastly, to end off the night, a BYOB will go from 11 pm to 3 am for ages 19 and up.
