A group of people are working together to get an apology from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to the Residential school survivors.
Jim Igloliorte is the Ministerial Special Representative appointed to lead the healing and commemoration portion of the NL Residential Schools Settlement Agreement.
He says he had a meeting with Steven Cooper, two people from Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, and representatives from ITK, Nunatsiavut Health, NunatuKavut Community Council, and Innu Nation.
