Northern Youth: Inspiring Young Leaders will be having a seven-day camp for youth between the ages of 14 to 16 from Canada’s three Territories and four Inuit regions on October 11 to 18, 2017 in Yellowknife.
This camp is an opportunity to learn about and participate in cultural activities from across Canada, and to discuss shared challenges youth face across the North.
Participants will be travelling from Nunatsiavut, Nunavik, Nunavut, NWT, and the Yukon.
All travel costs are covered by NYL.
Youth will be participating in traditional activities, group discussions, and will be preparing and giving presentations both during the camp, and when they return home.
