A few Geologists were in Nain this week working with the Geological Survey of Canada for a program called GEM.
Deanne Van Rooyen and David Coorigan came in to our studio today.
They met with people to find good places to go to find minerals that are of interest to the community.
They are looking for resources like gold, diamonds, or nickel like in Voisey’s Bay.
They met with the public yesterday to get some feedback.
