The Nunatsiavut Government held their assembly sitting on June 6th, 2017.
Tyler Edmunds, the former Speaker for the Assembly, is now the Minister of Finance, Human Resources and Information Technology.
Edmunds is the youngest minister to be appointed to the Nunatsiavut Assembly.
Jim Lyall is the Ordinary Member for Nain, and he will also serve as the Minister of Culture, Recreation and Tourism.
The Assembly also appointed the Ordinary Member for Canada, Edward Blake-Rudkowski, as the new Speaker.
